The City of Calgary and a panel of teachers and staff from the CBE and CCSD share their experiences of how environmental project-based learning has engaged students in meaningful inquiry and active learning in a storytelling format. This workshop will bring together teachers that have created successful projects, to share how curriculum objectives were met and The City's environmental education resources used. Hear how these projects allowed students to: use their own learning style to actively find information; design projects; solve problems; experience success and successful failures and create lasting changes in their behaviour, education and community.
