Jessie Fiddler-Kiss

Her family originates from the Batoche settlement in Northern Saskatchewan and  belongs to the Otipemisiwak nation. She is a SUNTEP graduate from the University of Saskatchewan, and of equal importance carries many Indigenous teachings from her Elders Doreen Spence, James Fiddler and John Fiddler. She is an advocate for decolonizing education, women's rights and social justice and is the creator of the Moss bag project, a post-scholarship for Indigenous mothers. Her purpose to is to hold multiple truths together and support others to do the same this time of reconciliation and is guided by the next 7 generations.
