Kelly Ryan Hicks (Registered Psychologist) completed her BSc in Psychology (Dalhousie University) and her M.Sc. in Applied Psychology (UofC), with a focus on psycho-educational assessment in both school and youth forensic settings, social-emotional and behavioral problems, cognitive disabilities, and learning disabilities. Kelly has worked as a school psychologist since 2001 focusing on psycho-educational assessment and intervention, consultation, advocacy, professional development, administration, and program planning for students with special needs. Kelly also spent several years working in a forensic hospital setting with individuals with severe and persistent mental health concerns, program evaluation, consultation with community mental health and addictions programs, in private practice specializing in assessment and programming for students with cognitive, behavior, and learning disabilities, and with a research team studying learning disabilities and AD/HD. Kelly has worked as a psychologist with the CBE since 2013 and is currently working towards her Doctorate in Psychology.
